วิธี Download MariaDB เพื่อใช้งานเป็น Database Server

   การดาวน์โหลด MariaDB ไม่ใช่เรื่องยากเย็นอะไร  แต่สำหรับผู้อยากจะเริ่มต้นแต่ไม่มีพื้นฐานมาเลยก็อาจจะดูยุ่งยากอยู่สักหน่อย  การดาวน์โหลด MariaDB ก็สามารถที่จะโหลดจากเว็บไซต์ของ  MariaDB ได้โดยตรงเลยที่ http://mariadb.org/  หรือจะเข้าเมนูดาวน์โหลดโดยที่  https://downloads.mariadb.org/  ก็จะมีให้ดาวน์โหลดตั้งแต่เวอร์ชั่นเก่าจนถึงปัจจุบันแลยทีเดียว

มาดูกันนว่ามี version ไหนใหนกันบ้างให้โหลดไปใช้กัน

• MariaDB Connector/ODBC 2.0 Series

       The MariaDB Connector/ODBC 2.0 series is built on top of MariaDB Connector/C 2.2 and uses the binary prepared statement protocol. It is basically MariaDB Connector/ODBC 1.0, ported to work on Linux.

• MariaDB Connector/C 2.3 Series

        MariaDB Connector/C is used to connect applications developed in C/C++ to MariaDB and MySQL databases.The library is LGPL licensed.  See the MariaDB Connector/C section of the MariaDB Knowledge Base for more information.

• MariaDB Connector/C 3.0 Series

• MariaDB Connector/J 1.4 Series

ในที่นี้เราจะโหลด MariaDB 10.1 Series  มาใช้งานกัน  เนื่องเป็นเวอร์ชั้นเต็มในขณะนี้  ส่วนเวอร์ชั่น 10.2 ในขณะนี้ยังเป็นตัวพัฒนาอยู่นะครับ  สำหรับ MariaDB 10.1 Series นั้นปัจจุบันจะอยู่เวอร์ชั่น  10.1.14 stable

จะเห็นว่าจะมีให้เราโหลดเยอะมากก็เลือกเอาตามที่ต้องการใช้นะครับ  จะมีทั้งสำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการ 32bit และ 64bit  ในที่นี้เครื่องผมเป็น Windows 64bit  เลือกไฟล์ mariadb-10.1.14-winx64.msi ซึ่งเป็นติดตั้งเอง  ส่วนใครจะเลือกโหลดแบบ .zip ก็ไม่ว่ากัน  สามารถนำไปแตก zip ใช้งานได้เลย

เมื่อโหลเสร็จก็จะได้ไฟล์ดังภาพเลย  ส่วนวิธีการติดตั้งก็จะเป็นบทความต่อไปนะจ๊ะ  เดี๋ยวบทความนี้จะยาวเกินไป
